Richard Cowley is a writer, critic, researcher, and social influencer. I have been writing my entire adult life. My life has been, and is, a journey. I am an explorer from the most mundane to the outer limits of the Human Thought Universe. As such, I have led a diverse life, with a twenty-year corporate career, another twenty as a professional educator working with economically disadvantaged teens, and another twenty as a writer honing my craft.

I am a country boy at heart. Heir to an Irish farming legacy, I am the first-born son of Richard Cowley, an honest but difficult man. A junior should follow in his father’s footsteps. I did not, could not. I would not.
Perhaps we are too much alike. Well, we were, but he’s gone, and I’m still here rattling cages.

History is important to me.
Human behavior is important to me.
Our constitutional government is important to me.
Adhering to an oath of honor is important to me.
The American people are important to me.

Perhaps you can see why I view our current President of the United States as such an abhorrence.
Would saying he is a lying sack of dog dirt be too strong?
Would claiming he’s the poster boy for everything ugly in America be too strong?

If you don’t like my perspective, you might want to consider watching Fox News or logging on to Truth Social.
